The management of Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S. Elm, is excited to bring the rich, sophisticated sounds of Dallas-based Carolyn Lee Jones and her Jazz quintet, the Fresh Vintage Band to the patio stage at 7 pm. Enjoy the free entertainment while taking advantage of a variety of libations and tasty menu items. (Yes, the weather is brisk, so throw on your coat and come on down.)
The Quintet is Carolyn Lee Jones, vocals; Brad Williams, keyboard; Steve Heffner, bass; Dennis Durick, drums; and and Dave Monsch, saxes.

CELEBRATING TEN YEARS! Carolyn Lee Jones always wanted to be a singer and burst on to the music scene. After a successful career in retailing, she launched her singing career. Sophisticated vocal jazz is what she does making standards sound new and the new sound standard. An audio calling card and the perfect representation of who she is and the stellar musicians in her band. Classic Jazz and Vintage Pop with a jazz twist is what makes her unique and her Fresh Vintage Band makes it happen!
Carolyn’s eclectic vocal repertoire includes; vintage pop songs into the jazz context, sultry ballads, renditions of the familiar jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, new material, as well as other popular music. A vocal stylist with a gift for telling the story, Miss Jones has created and performed a series of themed Cabaret jazz shows and was honored as Sammons Center For The Arts Cabaret Artist of the Year 2017.
