Tonight: 8 pm: Nick and Bonnie Norris – Free
DON’T FORGET Check out Greyhounds (self-proclaimed “Hall and Oates meet ZZ Top”) from Austin, TX on Thursday, August 27. Get your tickets!
THURSDAY: Evan Jacobs has performed at the bar on several occasions playing keys with Robert Gomez (Mi Son Mi Son Mi Son, Sarah Jaffe) and Eric Nichelson (Midlake). In both cases the music was casual, extemporaneous, and uplifting. Very space oriented. No easy task when entertaining a happy hour crowd, but these brilliant guys really pull it off. Come see Evan with his own group Greenhour Residency Thursday night at 8:30pm. 8:30PM | FREE
FRIDAY: Seward will be visiting us all the way from Barcelona, Spain and come highly recommended by our good friends Matt Pence (Centromatic) and Chris Johnson (Telegraph Canyon). Worldbeat, street performance, experimental, multi-layered, multi-media, multi-instrumental, multi-faceted material somehow laid bare and simplified by this fascinating ensemble. I’d recommend checking them out this go round, cuz obviously they don’t just route through on a regular basis. Felt & Fur and The Cush open at 9pm. 9PM | $10 | Buy Tickets
SATURDAY: Our VERY good friends Petty Theft will burgle their ways back into our hearts this Saturday night at 9pm. Expect to smile and dance. Mike Rhyner and his fellow recidivists keep on coming back and always explore every aspect of the vast and venerated Tom Petty catalog. 9PM | $10
- We recently put tickets on sale for our November 5th presentation “An Evening with Jimmy Webb.” It’s not often thatAmericonic
institutions roll through, so take advantage of this rare opportunity to check out true greatness up close and personal. A racantour of high degree, Jimmy not only performs his legendary hits, he also gives you the scoop behind the song. Make ready for a very intimate evening with one of our great American treasures. Tickets are moving so don’t miss out. THURS | NOV 5 | 8PM | SEATS: $55 / $45 GA: $20 | Buy Tickets
Because live music is the best thing you can watch without having to look at a phone.
