Oktoberfest segues to Monday at Greenhouse

Monday is yet another day for Jazz … Late Night Jazz @ the Greenhouse Restaurant, 600 N. Locust. Tonight: Fundamental is playing, and has been playing the first show each month since April. This should be a good one – starting at 10 p.m.
Devin Eddleman, Spenser Liszt & Nick Salvucvi – saxophones; Lane Garner – guitar; Mike Luzecky – bass; Jordan Gheen – keys; and Matt Young – drums.

- Marshall Smith’s BRAZZ, the all-brass and all acoustic quintet performs at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S. Elm St., at 7 to 9 p.m. – n
cover BRAZZ is Marshall Smith, trumpet; Jordan Gheen on trumpet; Catherine Gilstrap, French horn; trombonist Kevin Hicks; and A.G. Robeson on Bass trombone and tuba. For Tuesday’s performance, Brazz will take listeners on a “brassy” musical journey from Dixieland to straight-ahead jazz ala Charlie Parker and Dave Brubeck.
