- 5:30-7:30 p.m. – A TASTE OF BLUES – a sampler of fabulous Blues acts performing at the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce Annual Blues Fest, Sept. 21-22 at Quakertown Park, in the heart of Denton. Music provided by the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce. Free

- Kicking off Thursday Night Music is Slugger, 7-8 p.m. Slugger Music Group was formed in January of 2013, as a vehicle to perform songs written and arranged by Ronan Delisle, features Ronan, Zach Forsyth (drums), Daniel Parr (bass), Jimin Lee (vocals) and Stuart Mack (trumpet).
- Addison Frei, piano, plays 8-9 p.m., bringing his diverse pianistic sensibilities to a new set of repertoire: American folk music. This program includes solo piano explorations of bluegrass standards and songs of the Old West that mark Addison’s personal journey from Kansas to Texas.
