Angel Tree for adopted family @ Sweetwater
For the second year in a row, Sweetwater has adopted a family for the holidays. You can help make their Christmas “one to remember” several different ways:
1. contribute money–there’s a jar on the bar for donations;
2. select a gift from our Angel tree on the patio and return the purchased gift by December 17; or
3. contribute to (or buy) items we will be selling at a bake sale on Friday, November 30 from 6-8 pm during the lighting on the square (in front of the lawyers’ office on Hickory). We will be delivering gifts, money and a full holiday meal to this family on Christmas. Contact us if you are interested and have questions? Call 940-484-2888.
According to Sweetwater owner Karen Meredith, Sweetwater has two different donation options for the holidays:
1. An “adopted” family; there is an Angel tree on the patio to purchase gifts or a donation jar inside.
2. We are opening Sweetwater Christmas day to provide 200 servings to those who need a meal that day. Please call Karen at 940-367-4135 for donations to that event.Have a great holiday and come hear some of the wonderful music this month!
