Terrific Jazz music is scheduled throughout the week at new and established venues.

• Friday, June 8:
  Classical Guitar at Banter Bistro, 219 W Oak, Denton, 6 p.m., followed by Big Round Spectacles (Zach Balch & Karyna Cruz) at 8 p.m.- FREE
• Live music in the laid-back atmosphere of  The Cellar 22, 219 E. Hickory, Denton, 9 p.m. “Rob Donnelly, Southern Rock and Country artist, is performing tonight,” said co-owner Amanda Espinoza. “He won’t be a regular, but I do try to have music as much as possible on Friday and Saturday evenings.”
• Brave Combo at the Scat Jazz Lounge, 111 West Fourth in Ft. Worth, at 9 p.m.

Saturday, June 9:

• Harp & Drum – Irish Jam Session at Banter Bistro, 219 W Oak, Denton, at 3 p.m., Jazz pianist Austin Byrd at 6 p.m. and Singer/Songwriters Night at 8 p.m. – ALL FREE
• 

  Cornell Hurd Band plays Western Swing at Dan’s Silver Leaf Saturday at 7 p.m.

  Dan’s Silverleaf, 103 Industrial, Denton, presents Cornell Hurd and Friends, based in South Austin since 1990. The CHB offers some incredibly enticing Western Swing dance music that is layered with a phenomenal sense of humor. The players are fantastic and not to be missed if you like boot scootin’… plus it’s an uber early show, 7 p.m.! Ticket -$10.

• Jazz vocalist Jennifer Escue offers up her relaxed repertoire of original songs and popular standards in the laid-back atmosphere of  The Cellar 22, 219 E. Hickory, Denton, 9:30 p.m.
• Brave Combo at the Kessler Theatre, 1230 West Davis Street in Dallas, 7:30 pm – fundraiser for The Promise House.

Monday, June 11:
