Jennifer, originally from Lewisville, TX, is quickly becoming a powerful and original jazz vocalist and writer with influences from Carmen McRae, Nancy Wilson, and Dianne Reeves to Brazilian songstress Claudia Villela.

After being awarded an impressive scholarship and studying voice at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, she found her way back to Texas and graduated from the world-renowned jazz studies program at the University of North Texas.
- Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in jazz pedagogy from UNT, where she directs a vocal ensemble, teaches a course in vocal fundamentals, and sings in the award winning UNT Jazz Singers.
She has had the honor of studying under the internationally renowned vocal jazz arranger and educator Paris Rutherford as well as studying private jazz voice with noted recording artist, improviser and composer, Rosana Eckert. Jennifer is an active live performer in the Dallas area, singing with various ensembles and leading her own band devoted to performing her original songs and arrangements.
She is excited about the release of her debut album in 2011.
